Mid-life and mid-career is your “purpose period.” It’s the time in your life where you finally have the perspective and perception to understand not just what you do, but who you are. Armed with these insights, you’re in a better position to decide whether the work you do is fulfilling and/or impactful in the ways that check the right boxes.
While making career transitions in mid-life is often challenging, you can’t afford to ignore the opportunity. If you do, you’ll find yourself farther and farther away from your sense of purpose.
