To perform well, and consistently, requires planning, training, persistence, resilience, adaptability, and many other qualities. In our conversation, Ryan and I touch on this idea and use it as a springboard to arrive at a set of best practices that anyone can apply to keeping their career in tip-top shape.

As with so many aspects of life and profession, mindset is key. Thinking like a competitor doesn’t mean focusing exclusively on winning all the time. It means understanding and playing the long game.
